• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

    ouch

    By heather | August 1, 2007

I haven’t posted in a few days because I blew up the blog. It was ugly. I was just starting to get attached to it and feeling the need to write AND I even had a comment! From Emily, who I admire for her beautiful family, and infinite wisdom she bestowed on me when I first went back to work!

Then I just couldn’t leave well enough alone and nuked the database by accident. (News for other godaddy/Serendipity users – your host apparently does not support Apache mod_rewrite. I’ll tell you how to fix it without re-installing for a small consulting fee though.)

Luckily I was somehow able to get into the db and do an export so I could rebuild the entries. If this ever happens again that’s it, because with any more entries than this it will be impossible.

After all this hard work, it’s time to get ready for some FOOTBALL! This was Brett’s Father’s Day present, so now he and Alex have matching jerseys.

I especially love how each ‘R’ goes bicep to bicep on the baby sized one.
