• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

    in sickness…

    By heather | August 28, 2007

Here is a picture from Mandatory Fun. In this picture we are all in the jumping castle.

Not jumping but we COULD be…

$5 bought me a limp hot dog, some soggy potato chips and store bought cookies - the bad kind. There wasn’t even any beer because the picnic was designated a “family” event. I don’t know about your family, but mine drinks beer.

Alex and I also got a little something extra for our money - a cold. (As a matter of fact, Alex is probably inserting the virus in his mouth as shown in this picture.) Our weekend of fun still rocked, it was just a little more gooey. At times I felt like I was on that old tv show “Double Dare” where the kids got buckets of slime dumped on them.

We also accomplished everything on the list, except for the vegetarian thing. I tried my darndest, I really did. But once we were both sick, all we wanted was some homemade chicken soup.
