itsy bitsy, we have a problem
By heather | September 22, 2007
There are spiders in the window. No, not spider WEBS (merely a sign of poor houskeeping dahling, fire that incompetant Molly Maid would you?) – spider SACS with spider EGGS or babies or whatever the hell they are called INSIDE the kitchen window between the outside and inside panes. And not just one, or two – we’re talking double digits. This is more than poor housekeeping, this falls under no one will ever visit me again status.
How did they get there? I have no idea. I know that I live in fear of the day they start hatching while at the same I think I’m a little bit in denial because I have recently seen an inordinate number of spiders in the house. Also, I have bites on my ankles, which leads me to believe the spiders are attacking me while I sleep or it could be my imagination conjuring up a welt in response to perceived itch.
I asked Brett to hose out the window from outside and instead he opened it (GAH) and cleaned out what he could reach with a paper towel from the inside, which wasn’t much at ALL and which I think just rallied the spiders and now they are just pissed and when they hatch its going to be like in Lord of the Rings (which I hated because of the hobbit feet) when all the freak people run over the hillsides into battle and I am going to lose because there a million of them and only one of me and I have a CHILD to protect.
(Pass Mama her meds wouldja doll?)
Tell me your skin isn’t crawling. Can I pay someone to come and wash the spiders out? And also pay them to put the brakes on that whole out came the sun and dried up all the rain so the itsy bitsy spider came in my house agayn?
