• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

    it was a long weekend

    By heather | October 1, 2007

Alex is dressed for the day in this shirt.

Brett: “Why does his shirt say STICKS?”

Me: “I don’t know, I liked the fish.”

    Brett: “I don’t get it.”

Me: “Me either but its cute.

    Sometime later…

Brett talking to Alex in pirate voice: “Aargh I’m a pirate! Aye’m going to eat your fish! And your sticks! Aargh!”

Simultaneous light bulb dawns over parental heads, followed by simultaneous head slap.

    Both: “OOHHHH, Fish…Sticks, Fish Sticks.”

Hopefully, IQ is cumulative rather than average in the offspring of two engineering-oriented-over-analytical parents.
