• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

this is why i’m not a chef

    By heather | November 9, 2007

Not only did I make this chicken pot pie using gravy from a jar and frozen pie crusts, I didn’t get the top crust on…how shall I say…EXACTLY right. I rock the house(wife), yo. Also it was runny - my veggies just kept spewing water and thinning my jarred gravy (I guess that’s what unthawed mixed vegetables do when dumped right in with no prep work whatsoever?)- although it still all got eaten.

My one saving grace was using horomone-free, free-range organic chicken that spent its final hours lounging at a day spa sipping mint tea.

The worst part is, I don’t even know what I did wrong to make the crust crack like a terrorist getting waterboarded. Whoopsie, is that rude? I’ll make up for it on ARK Sunday. (I hope that NOT doing things like flipping off idiot drivers counts as an act of random kindness.)

    Can’t…take…pressure…
