• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

    walking and winning part II

    By heather | December 4, 2007

For the background on this entry, see this one.

    Walking

Now that Alex has taken his first baby steps, the progression is amazing. This video is four days old and his balance and coordination are unbelievably better. He conciously chooses to walk instead of crawling to get places. He still makes happy noises with every step, as if he’s saying to himself, "I’m doing it! I’m really doing it!"

    Winning

On Saturday, I saw a GREAT pair of shoes and forked out $69 plus tax for a total of $72 because I loooovvvvedd them.

The next day, my football pool money was delivered and in a great karmic twist of fate guess how much I won?

    Free shoes!!

It just doesn’t get much better does it?
