Today, I deleted all 195 items in my Tech Blogs folder. Without reading them. I just clicked “Mark All As Read.” Because it occurred to me that I didn’t really care, and couldn’t remember one single technical (read: work) related item from the past two weeks.
To do this, without even glancing at them – well it is just not me. I am compulsive. I will slog my way through because there might be something useful in there.
I realized today that I don’t give a hoot about any of the technology news. Clicking that button felt like unbuckling my seat belt before I put the car in park. Watch out. This is the new me and I’m dangerous.
