• Atman

The Atman or Atma (IAST: Ātmā, sanskrit: आत्म‍ ) is a philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul. It is one's true self (hence generally translated into English as 'Self') beyond identification with the phenomenal reality of worldly existence.

    ode to march (madness)

    By heather | March 28, 2008

    —————————-
    basketball sucks ass
    always on television
    sick of march madness

    ———————————————–

When is the last time YOU held YOUR remote control?

Or had a conversation that started with, “Do you want to ____?”

And was answered with anything but, “Well, I kind of wanted to watch basketball…”

     Right.  It’s been a while.

It’s ok.  I’m not that annoyed.  Because I had uninterrupted blog reading, writing, commenting and general internet surfery in peace for at least 2 hours last night.  Feeding my internet addiction, absolutely 1oo% guilt free, with no obligation for any type of human interaction.  Because even if I tried, it wouldn’t matter.

I hear the low rumble of cheers in the background.

Just like they were cheering for me.  (Get caught up!  Get caught up!  Read that feed!)

My Badgers are in the Sweet 16, so I am actually pretty psyched right now. It does get a bit out of hand after a while though.

See I miss March Madness. Back in high school I would always get in on the German class’s sweet 16 contest and I did well too. But yay for guilt-free blogging time. That is always nice. I should so be cleaning, but at least my week started off strong.

You know, you make a good point. I’ve been complaining about this stupid march madness, when all this time I should have been enjoying it!

I’m in a tourney bracket, & am loving it, but I love all sports. Anything to feed the addiction is good, right?
