another milestone in a mile of stones

Ah, 1pm and everyone is asleep. Everyone except for me, because I have to restore the house and kitchen to it’s pre-hurricane state and get ready for the afternoon onslaught of children and spit up and toys everywhere.
“Maybe I can finish in time to get in a little nap,” I think to myself. Or even do some yoga surfing.
Until.
***Thunkk!! CraSH! WWWWAAAAAHHHH!***
You know what that sound is right?
That’s the sound of Alex vaulting out of the crib and crash landing on the floor. He did this by ingeniously piling up the blankets in his crib for leverage and then toppled over the side.
Fu#k.
As if I needed ANOTHER logistical wrench to contend with, now I’m faced with the task of keeping Alex in bed in the evenings, at nap time, in the middle of the night, and in the early morning.
I may never sleep again. Or shower. AndveryshortlyImaylosemyever-lovin’mind.

Well good luck with that. But seriously, they do make these tent things that go over the crib, it’s made out of mesh. You could give that a try.
