Interesting -- I've wondered how yoga teachers become teachers. I'm a big fan of Iyengar, often because of the teachers, and learned that they go through incredibly rigorous certifications... made me wonder if that is why I liked it so much, that they really knew what they were doing?? I am the anti-dance-mom mom. It's almost to the point of pathetic. I almost convinced Reagan to skip dance practice yesterday, which totally was overriding my cheapness, knowing I'd be throwing away close to $20. Just throw away all the information they give you the day they give it to you and you'll always be playing catch up. Then you'll never even feel like being competitive. I think now a days no matter what your kid is envolved in , there is a competitiveness to it. The bigger problem is, if your not a competitive person, its easy to get swallowed up. If you need any pointers let me know. ; )

We are so totally related. I am some what of a "high maintenance" kinda gal myself. I learned early on to just get up earlier to get ready, then no one was having to wait on me. I think you are perfectly normal and anyone who can't get it should take a flying leap. SoccerMom's last blog post..What does your Calendar say about you?

My hair stylist insisted that I didn't need to wash my hair every day. She said I could easily go every three days without washing it and I didn't believe her, but it's true - your hair gets used to it after a few weeks and doesn't look or feel greasy at all. And the benefit is that on the two days in between washings, I just run a flat iron through it and I'm done in two minutes. (You can also use a little bit of baby power at the roots or a "dry shampoo" like the one Bumble & Bumble makes) if you feel you need it on the inbetween days.) rimarama's last blog post..Unrepentant
